While tech enthusiasts are looking forward to the official product unveiling at the upcoming Made by Google event on August 12, very little has actually been left to the imagination if these latest reports turn out to be accurate. This comprehensive wave of specifications comes exactly one week after an initial leak from the French publication Deallabs Magazine outlined the base model’s entry points, giving the industry an early look at what Google has in store for its annual ecosystem refresh.
The latest development occurred when early retail drafts of the devices were accidentally published on Amazon, where tech portal 9to5Google spotted three separate listings that included images of the new color variants. According to these leaked retail pages, the standard base Pixel 11 will be available in three distinct color options, which are named midnight, fuchsia, and moss. Moving up the premium ladder, the higher-end Pixel 11 Pro will debut in four color finishes including dune, light fog, pine, and sterling. Meanwhile, the next-generation foldable device, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, was listed in midnight and pine colors, though Google may still surprise consumers with additional regional color options during the official launch keynote next month.
Beyond mere cosmetic upgrades, the Amazon retail listings shed light on critical hardware specifications and a notable restructuring of Google’s pricing strategy. Crucially, the base Pixel 11 is listed as shipping with 12GB of RAM, a detail that successfully disproves previous internet rumors suggesting that the entry-level model would receive a memory downgrade this year. Furthermore, Google is completely eliminating the standard 128GB storage configuration, choosing instead to make 256GB the default baseline capacity across the board. This storage upgrade coincides with a base price hike to $899, confirming long-held expectations that the entire premium lineup would be more expensive this generation. Powering these hardware changes are larger physical batteries, with the base Pixel 11 packing a 4,985 mAh cell, the Pixel 11 Pro XL stepping up to 5,115 mAh, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold coming in at 4,750 mAh, all running Google’s upcoming Android 17 operating system right out of the box.
The smartphone series is not the only product family seeing a generation-over-generation price increase, as renders for the upcoming Pixel Watch 5 show a similar trend. Leaked renders provided by OnLeaks through the tech site The Tide Chart suggest that while the physical design architecture of the smartwatch remains largely consistent with its predecessor, the wearable will introduce four fresh color ways. These include dark anthracite paired with a black band, natural silver with a blue band, warm gold matched with a coral band, and a pyrite variant accented by a green band. Interestingly, this official-looking leak follows an unorthodox real-world exposure back in May, when a prototype of the watch was reportedly found in the ocean by a friend of Gearbox Entertainment founder Randy Pitchford and successfully returned to its owner.
Similar to the phone upgrades, the base 41mm Wi-Fi model of the Pixel Watch 5 is facing a fifty-dollar price bump, bringing the entry point up to $399, while the larger 45mm LTE variant is tipped to retail for $529. The watch is rumored to bring a new custom Tensor wearable processor alongside a larger internal battery, though these internal upgrades remain unverified by retail sources.
